As a local brand owner, I have had some long periods in my journey, where it has felt like things aren’t going the way I expected. Not realizing and sitting in my stillness enough to accept that everything is preparation for what’s to come. Instead allowing it to create fear. When I tell y’all I have avoided pop ups out of fear - imagine what else I have avoided! Often times the identities/fears we take on aren’t even ours. For a go-getter to become fearful it means I allowed something to convince me of what I’m not.

However, the perspectives my people have poured into me, kept relighting my fire more and more, sparking an energy within I always had. Surrounding myself with people who pour into me what I pour into them and focusing on my journey has been healing. Two of the most important decisions you’ll make is - your friends and partner. Love yall 🫶🏽

Also it’s okay to step away and process, I give myself grace but baby, always come back!
